This past Friday, a couple of friends and I decided to take the triplets and head downtown for a lunch date and to hear Trout Fishing in America play.  My friends are VERY brave for agreeing to an outing with the likes of us! I did try and be somewhat prepared for the outing, promise!  I went ahead and put my tiny trio down for their morning nap even though everyone had agreed to meet at my house at 11 to head downtown.  The babies didn't feel the need to actually sleep, however. They did anything but sleep up there. I heard singing, jumping and even had to peep upstairs to make sure that nobody had decided to jump out of bed when I heard an awfully loud noise of something hitting the floor.  As luck would have it, it wasn't a baby that had hit the floor, but the original version of the Tickle Me Elmo toy which probably weighs about the same as one of my kids (or sounds like it does when hitting the hardwood floor, that is!)  Once my friends arrived, we each hea...

 Enjoy corn mazes, pumpkin patches, haunted attractions, murdery mystery dinners & more! That fall chill is in the air which means that it's time for the 2024 Fall Festival at DixieMaze Farms, y'all!  I don't know about you guys, but I cannot WAIT to head out to the farm with the kids for a breath of fresh air. I want to go get lost in their corn field, watch the kids jump in their jumpy-thing, root for my favorite piggy in the piggy races and just enjoy the beautiful fall day! There is SO much to do out there, I could easily spend the entire day AND evening out there.  If you have older kids, you CAN literally do exactly that on Fridays and Saturday nights with their Murder Mystery Dinners for us adults AND their Haunted Attraction features for the older kiddos!  How much fun can one place provide?
