🎃 2024 Fall Festival at DixieMaze Farms 🎃

 Enjoy corn mazes, pumpkin patches, haunted attractions, murdery mystery dinners & more! That fall chill is in the air which means that it's time for the 2024 Fall Festival at DixieMaze Farms, y'all!  I don't know about you guys, but I cannot WAIT to head out to the farm with the kids for a breath of fresh air. I want to go get lost in their corn field, watch the kids jump in their jumpy-thing, root for my favorite piggy in the piggy races and just enjoy the beautiful fall day! There is SO much to do out there, I could easily spend the entire day AND evening out there.  If you have older kids, you CAN literally do exactly that on Fridays and Saturday nights with their Murder Mystery Dinners for us adults AND their Haunted Attraction features for the older kiddos!  How much fun can one place provide? Mommie-Blogging…A New Revolution!

Today, I was doing a bit of research on my latest project and did something mundane and really silly, or so I had thought.  I Googled myself. It was just for fun and to see what would happen.  After all, they say many prospective employers Google their prospective employees to see what they will find on them.  I didn’t expect to see what I found. I found myself mentioned on another site for the things that I write about here on my blog with Red River Moms.  I was very surprised. I know it may seem odd, but I really was.  The piece was about the growing popularity of Mommie-blogging and what a wonderful means of communication it is becoming.  It touted the concept as a means of getting good advice and making friends in what can be a very lonely time in a woman’s life.  It really made me stop and think about what it is that I do each day.  I am not just checking in to document my babies’ daily lives anymore.  Writing my blog has become very th...
