Cursive Catastrophe In Shreveport, LA

Over the past few years, I have noticed something that I find rather alarming occurring in our local school system.  The problem appears to be more widespread than I had originally thought, too, as I have found reference to it in several other Mommie sites that I frequent.  Parents, look at your children's homework assignments. Have you noticed anything odd about them?  If your child is in the third grade or higher, are they still printing their answers and papers?  I would like for you to take a look at your child's work and really ask yourself something.  Does your child know how to write in cursive? I know it sounds like an odd question, but seriously.  Ask them and see what they say. When my son went to middle school for the first time last year, a rather frightening incident occurred.  Most of the kids could NOT write in cursive.  Enjoy corn mazes, pumpkin patches, haunted attractions, murdery mystery dinners & more! That fall chill is in the air which means that it's time for the 2024 Fall Festival at DixieMaze Farms, y'all!  I don't know about you guys, but I cannot WAIT to head out to the farm with the kids for a breath of fresh air. I want to go get lost in their corn field, watch the kids jump in their jumpy-thing, root for my favorite piggy in the piggy races and just enjoy the beautiful fall day! There is SO much to do out there, I could easily spend the entire day AND evening out there.  If you have older kids, you CAN literally do exactly that on Fridays and Saturday nights with their Murder Mystery Dinners for us adults AND their Haunted Attraction features for the older kiddos!  How much fun can one place provide?
